At SCAP Lab, we study how to build scalable AI platforms that deliver AI services reliably, wherever and however people use them. Our research spans three directions: maximizing AI application performance in resource-constrained computing environments; designing efficient AI platforms that are aware of heterogeneous computing devices; and designing AI platforms that balance the trade-off between performance and privacy. Our long-term goal is to build scalable AI platforms that run efficiently on any device and respect user privacy, making high-performance AI accessible everywhere.
